E(a)ternally ….... !

The list of good eating joints in Pune is glaringly incomplete without a bakery on Main-Street: “Marzorin”.
This unassuming place has foodies teeming out of it all the time. The striking feature of this bakery is the consistent quality and taste that it has maintained for many decades now. The ambience is soft and idyllic and the aroma of fresh bread and cakes very inviting.
Marzorin dishes out some very yummy sandwiches, burgers and chicken rolls (Those are the only things that have managed to bribe me to betray pure vegetarianism).
As one enters this bakery, a beautiful frame catches the eye. It is hung right behind the cashier and is done in soft cream and rose hues. It portrays an English lady with her little daughter and the following words beneath them:

“ Life has a link with Time,
And Time is Eternal,
One soul has a link with other
And Love is Eternal “

This ephemeral ,uncertain world of changing times, changing people, changing attitudes, changing surroundings seems a little less daunting only because one knows that at least some of the things are Eternal. Some things are special, just because they are Eternal. Perhaps just like the (near) eternal taste and quality of Marzorin goodies.
